Here's how Support Plus benefits you:

You made a substantial investment when you purchased our software, and since the overall success of your crisis management program relies in part on the quality of the software you deploy, it is risky to rely on outdated versions.  The only way to ensure that your software is up-to-date and current with the latest version is to have a valid Support Plus in place.

Keeping your Support Plus current and uninterrupted will allow you to receive the following valuable benefits:

  • Regulatory updates - A primary reason why organizations purchase ESS software is to generate regulatory reports required by Federal and State government agencies.  The format of these reports changes regularly and without these updates you risk not being in compliance with your reporting.  This can result in large fines, potential criminal liability and poor public relations.
  • Periodic report enhancements - on managerial reports, employee reports, cost reports, etc.  With a valid subscription, these report enhancements are easily downloadable from our support site.
  • Periodic product updates - enhance the capabilities available in your current version of ESS software.  Each new version release comes with new capabilities and improved usability.  Our development staff is constantly updating the software by adding user-requested features and functionality. Without your Support Plus, you will not benefit from these new and improved features. These updates will be FREE with your Support Plus. Updates may be downloaded from the ESS Customer Network.
  • ESS ExprESS Newsletter - Through this newsletter, ESS is committed to providing you with interesting, informative and useful information about our products and customers, upcoming events, trends in the industry, and to introduce you to members of our ESS Family. 
  • ESS Customer Network - There's a new community of environmental, health, safety and crisis professionals growing online.  Its members are becoming more empowered, savvy and knowledgeable about everything ESS.  Experienced users of ESS software are meeting online to share their knowledge, techniques, resources and experience to leverage their investment.  Where are they meeting?  At the new improved ESS Customer Network (ECN).  You can join the community of EH&S and Crisis professionals – and it's free.  Creating your own profile on the ECN will make your support experience faster, easier and save you time and money!  You can request a username and password by going to the Login page and creating an account. Registration is required to access all software updates
  • Timely, informative Technical Tips - via access to the ESS Customer Network (ECN). The ECN provides a variety of resources to help you including a list of FAQs, links to training and support information, software updates, and an online forum where you can exchange information and discuss a wide range of issues with colleagues and our professional staff. You can even suggest enhancements for individual modules!  Clients of ESS software must be current with their Support Plus and request access, in order to fully use the ECN. 
  • Compatibility and support for your corporate Information Technology (IT) standards - As new versions of database management software, operating systems, and other enabling software are released (i.e., new versions of Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, etc.), the newest versions of our software are designed to support these other systems.  Older versions of your ESS software may not work with new releases of your corporate IT infrastructure.
